The Royal Historical Society of Victoria has an extensive collection of photographs and other image material including glass slides, artworks and maps. Among the collection is a set of large painted glass lantern slides depicting views of early colonial life in Victoria and possibly New South Wales, probably during the gold rush in the 1850s.
